This was a recommendation from a connection of mine - someone that runs a book circle. She referred to the book as being one that had had a significant impact on her, which is something I’ve since heard a few say. I get it - I completely understand why.
Most of us have, and are, experiencing blockages - how we basically get in our own way. In this book, Gay Hendricks provides a “ladder” to explain the four levels we pass through in our approach to life:
Incompetence
Competence
Excellence
Zone of Genius
Of course, the ideal is to sit in the ZoG but we have an Upper Limit Problem - a mental barrier (or a few!) to achieving what we truly want and dream of. This isn’t a huge book and is easy to read. It’s highly recommended and one of those books that is on a “classic must read” list.
