How To Live When You Could Be Dead (Dame Deborah James) visual synopsis by Dani Saveker

£3.00

This book is an incredibly special and important one. It was written by the inspirational and amazing Dame Deborah James - otherwise known as Bowel Babe.

Deborah was an English journalist, educator, podcast host and charity campaigner from London. In 2016, she was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer and went on to host the You, Me and the Big C podcast on BBC Radio 5 Live about her struggles with her illness. In the book she describes how she simply talked about ‘poo’ for 5 years - little knowing the impact she’d have.

The book helps the reader to not only gain insights into the strength she had, but also the lessons she learned through living with a terminal illness. Deborah lost her brave battle on 28 June 2022.

This visual has the usual small fee - however, Dani has committed to donate 100% of this to the Bowel Babe charity.

Dani Saveker studied Product Design and Marketing at the University of Teesside before joining her family’s manufacturing business. Always fascinated with creativity and design, she enjoys capturing notes from books, workshops, presentations and talks in a visual way.

Turning this passion into something a little more, she began publishing her Visual Synopses in 2017 – without considering the reaction that would follow. Authors, publishers and audiences now follow and share her work as well as using it for promotional and educational purposes. The approach utilises the system she developed known as GLAS (Global Life Alignment System)- a creative method, framework and toolkit to equip entrepreneurs, teams and organisations to progress and perform at a whole new level through building confidence and clarity.
