A beautiful book that is a must read for anyone, especially leaders. Jerry explores the world as it is and the fundamental need for humans to belong - and that we have an increasing issue with “Otherness” - Othering being the way in which we can push people out for their differences.

To bring us back to ‘belonging’ we need to:

• have patience

• truly listen

• build trust

• create safety

But before we do this, we must be willing to go through a process of radical self-inquiry. This means we each need to visit our ancestors stories - and accept them in their entirety. We need to dispel myths and seek out the honest stories of love, safety and belonging in order for us to feel each of these things and provide belonging for others.
