Roman Kemp explores the causes, issues and impact of this challenging subject. His colleague and very good friend, Joe Lyons, lost his life to suicide in 2020.
In addition to speaking to experts, those working in the field, friends and family impacted by suicide, Roman courageously shares his own battle with mental health and the stigma of speaking out about it - especially as a young man.
This was chosen by Dani as a piece to capture as she lost a friend herself to suicide in 2021. In addition to this, Dani’s very good friends from university lost their oldest son the same way just a few years ago.
