This book actually belonged to Dani’s husband but she was attracted to the title and so selected it for a Visual Synopsis – number 96. She originally feared it wouldn’t be relevant but that was immediately put to rest when she realised that the points raised by Tien and Gabe were transferable to anyone and in any industry.

Subscribed considers the interaction of consumer and supplier (of products or services) and points out the need to redress the relationship – and in many cases, simply build a relationship. From a history of product being king, the book shows that people and services are really what should be at the heart. From refocusing to “outcome value” and developing a way that places the depth of relationships firmly at the centre, this book is inspiring and hugely thought-provoking.

It’s a fascinating book that tries to, and is successful at, flipping the current thinking to question your approach. From price structuring to the 4 P’s of marketing – and marketing itself – it demonstrate the need to reimagine, rethink and re-approach business, and life.

Dani Saveker studied Product Design and Marketing at the University of Teesside before joining her family’s manufacturing business. Always fascinated with creativity and design, she enjoys capturing notes from books, workshops, presentations and talks in a visual way.

Turning this passion into something a little more, she began publishing her Visual Synopses in 2017 – without considering the reaction that would follow. Authors, publishers and audiences now follow and share her work as well as using it for promotional and educational purposes. The approach utilises the system she developed known as GLAS (Global Life Alignment System)- a creative method, framework and toolkit to equip entrepreneurs, teams and organisations to progress and perform at a whole new level through building confidence and clarity.
