The Innovation Stack (Jim McKelvey) visual synopsis by Dani Saveker

£3.00

This book was recommended to me through the VS community.

Jim McKelvey explores the fascinating approach that entrepreneurs take to evolve their businesses through initially trying to resolve a problem. An Innovation Stack is what happens naturally when the problem that’s resolved leads to another challenge to overcome - once this has been solved, a next issue presents itself and so on. The book reminds me of Originals by Adam Grant - and that entrepreneurs are simply in search of new solutions rather than mad risk takers.

There is no ‘template’ for an Innovation Stack - by definition it is something that evolves after a problem was resolved. This will be different for every business.

Dani Saveker studied Product Design and Marketing at the University of Teesside before joining her family’s manufacturing business. Always fascinated with creativity and design, she enjoys capturing notes from books, workshops, presentations and talks in a visual way.

Turning this passion into something a little more, she began publishing her Visual Synopses in 2017 – without considering the reaction that would follow. Authors, publishers and audiences now follow and share her work as well as using it for promotional and educational purposes. The approach utilises the system she developed known as GLAS (Global Life Alignment System)- a creative method, framework and toolkit to equip entrepreneurs, teams and organisations to progress and perform at a whole new level through building confidence and clarity.
